The Forsan Journalism and Yearbook students were invited to be part of a special event at Lamun Lusk Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home.
The Traveling Wall - or the Healing Wall as some call it - is a traveling memorial to those who have lost their lives in war over the years. The wall made its way to Howard County and was unveiled in a short ceremony, for the community on April 3.
Students were on hand to capture the ceremony and the community as they viewed the wall, giving honor to all those who have sacrificed for our freedoms. While attending the ceremony, students also had an opportunity to visit with veterans and those responsible for moving the wall around the country.
