The Forsan Journalism End of Year Picnic may not have gone off as planned, but it was still a success.
Due to weather concerns and threat of rain, the picnic was moved indoors to the cafeteria. Students were ready and willing to serve up hot dog and hamburger meals to those who came out to show their support.
All the money raised will benefit the Forsan Journalism and Yearbook classes.
Community supporters made the event possible: Scenic Mountain Medical Center, Parkview, H-E-B, and Star of Big Spring. A big thank you to Tiffany Sayles Hayes and family for cooking the food for the fundraiser. One more big thank you to all those who purchased tickets for meals and made donations.
The event was marked a success.
