The community gathered together for the first Suicide Awareness Pep Rally, held at the Comanche Trail Amphitheater. The event was an opportunity for the youth in the community, along with their families to get information on resources in the community for mental health and family services.
Local organizations hosted games, provided hot dogs and snacks, and an opportunity to win door prizes. Special Guest Speakers included Big Spring High School Principal Mike Ritchey and Dr. Matthew Faubion, Forensic Psychiatrist.
Forsan Cheerleaders and Student Council representatives were in attendance, along with other Forsan families and community members.
