On Tuesday, Jan. 16, the Forsan Student Council handed out free hot chocolate during the break period. As students walked in, they were greeted with a warm cup of cocoa as they sat down to take their break.
“I want us to start doing more so our students know who we are and that yes, we are doing things,” says Mrs. Lefever, student council advisor.
The idea was put together by Lefever the night before. Student Council members - Lily Hoff, Caylee Myers, and Addie Beall (along with other Stu. Co members) helped hand out the cozy drinks. Mrs. Lefever contacted them and other members to prepare them for the plan for the chilly day to come.
“I messaged the officers just the night before, telling them about it.” says Lefever.
The Forsan Student Council plans on planning more events for the students to participate in during the rest of the semester, with prom coming up, it is sure to be busy!
