Last week, the Lady Buffs defeated the Water Valley Lady Wildcats 57-23.
On Tuesday, Jan. 16, the Forsan Lady Buffs took on the Water Valley Lady Wildcats in a District Basketball game.
In the first quarter starter #4, Liberty Rodriquez, made two free throws, putting up the first points on the scoreboard. At the end of the first quarter the Lady Buffs were up 13-3, with #34, Harleigh Greer, having made six of the points for the Lady Buffs. Both teams had three fouls a piece.
Within the first minute of the second quarter, starter #13, Scout Stockton, fouled on the Lady Wildcats, giving up a point making the score 13-4. Following the foul, Greer stole the ball from the Lady Wildcats and went for the layup, adding two points to the scoreboard. End of the second quarter the Lady Buff were up 37-12.
In the third quarter, the Lady Buffs worked together as a team and pulled ahead by 38 points making the score 52-14.
After the win on Tuesday night the Lady Buffs are now 1-0 in the second round of Districts and 6-2 overall.
