Forsan Junior High School TMSCA (Texas Math and Science Coaches Association) competed on Feb. 3, at Big Spring Junior High for a practice meet.
TMSCA’s purpose is to allow students to compete in science and math competitions.
On Saturday, Feb. 17, students once again competed in a qualifying meet in Sweetwater. At that meet, five of the students qualified for state competition.
Students included: Tahmid Rayid, in Number Sense, Calculator, Mathematics, and Science; in Science, Feliz Flores, Camden Hefner, Haylea Elliot, and Zadrian Ginkinger.
TMSCA will compete again on March 2, in Andrews at a Regional Qualifying Meet.
