The Forsan High School welding class recently competed in a welding competition in Coahoma.Teams came from all over west Texas and two teams from New Mexico. It was a great experience for our students even though we didn't place in the top three. The team built a plasma cutting table using a blueprint with all dimensions and welding symbols. Overall, the team received good marks for squareness and weld quality, but ran out of time and did not complete the entire project. The project was completed after we returned to the school shop and is currently being utilized. Team members were Iain Clarkson, Kole Evartt, Gavin Marlow, and Izac Rogers.
