Students in Ms. Duforat's Graphic Design class and Mrs. Lefever's Family and Community Services had an opportunity to interview local veterans, as part of a cross curricular project.
Students were able to hear from veterans who served in the Korean War, Vietnam, War on Terror and provided aid and support with the Texas National Guard.
Following the small group interviews a short Q&A was held offering an opportunity for all students to hear all of the veterans story.
Following the end of the Q&A, a special ceremony was held as the students and staff were able to watch a Quilt of Valor presentation take place.
Not only was history brought to life through this project, but the staff and students at Forsan become part of the veteran's story.
