Forsan ISD welcomes Dr. Thompson

Forsan ISD is proud to welcome Dr. Raemi Thompson as our new Assistant Superintendent. She will be filling in the role of lead to the finance department, TIA and the lead for Strong Foundations.
With a heart for students, a steadfast commitment to staff, and a visionary approach to education, Dr. Thompson brings exceptional experience and a passion aimed at helping our district continue to grow.
Dr. Thompson has more than two decades of experience in public education, district leadership, and systemic school improvement. Throughout her years of service she has served in numerous roles from elementary principal to superintendent, consistently advancing academic performance, financial stability, and innovative programming across districts.
Dr. Thompson holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Major initiatives that she has spearheaded included Teacher Incentive Allotment, strategic grant acquisition, curriculum modernization, and teacher recruitment and retention efforts. Her record demonstrates her collaborative leadership style, strong instructional vision, and commitment to student and staff success.

Dr. Thompson is dedicated to supporting Forsan ISD’s mission to provide exceptional learning opportunities for all students. Her leadership will be a tremendous asset to our small but mighty community, and we are excited for the future she will help shape.
