Forsan JV Tournament
The Forsan JV Tournament wrapped up Saturday, Jan. 10.
The Forsan JV team finished 2-1 overall in the tournament. The Buffaloes won the first game against Roscoe 33-31; Cole Wyatt made the game winning shot at the buzzer.
The second victory of the day came as the JV Buffaloes defeated Midland Lee Freshman B team with a final score of 40-36.
Overall, the JV Buffaloes finished second place after falling to Midland Lee's Freshman A team 34-60 in the championship game.
Several JV Buffaloes were recognized for their efforts in the tournament; Ian Paredez, Maddix Brownfield, and Taylor Rose won all tournament awards.
The Freshman Buffaloes team ended 1-2 in the tournament playing for the consolation game. The boys fought hard, but lost to Roscoe.
Buffalo Josh Austin was named all tournament for the freshmen team.
