Forsan ISD teachers and staff gathered one last time before the school year officially drew to a close to recognize years of service, announce teachers of the year, and celebrate a special retirement.
The meeting began recognizing teachers with five years, 10 years, 20 years and 30 years of service. This year, Welding Instructor Keith Bagnall celebrated 20 years of service at Forsan. Floral Design and Business Information Management Teacher Suzanne Kirkland was recognized for her 30 years of service.
Coach and Dean of Students Jason Phillips was presented with the Mirabeau B. Lamar Educator of the Year Award by the Staked Plains Lodge No. 598 A.F. & A.M.
