Forsan ISD

The Forsan Junior High One Act Play students recently competed at the District One-Act Play Festival on Nov. 17, at Colorado City High School. Students performed "The Magic Well" and took 1st Place Overall. The One Act Play from Miles took 2nd Place; Colorado City took 3rd Place and Roscoe took 4th Place.
In addition to overall best show at the competition, several honorable mentions and acting awards were brought home by Forsan Junior High students. Awards included:
Honorable Mention- Paislee Jackson and Bryson Roberts
All-Star Cast- Max Myers and Makayla Garza
Best Actress- Kennedy Johnson
Outstanding Technical Crew Member-Kimberly Coursey
Over-all outstanding Crew of the day-Forsan
The show was directed by Jim Rhodes and Travis Peters. The cast included the following students: Carmen Trinidad, Hunter Morningstar, Bryson Roberts, Kenzli Caudill, Tristian Rodriguez, Elyssa Amaro, Kendal Jones, Kennedy Johnson, Makayla Garza, Max Myers, Marin Howell, Zoe Teston, Hadlee Fowler, Paislee Jackson. The following students served as support as part of the crew: Sydni Sayles, Brandyn Pena, Steven Gulley, Kimberly Coursey, Lexie McWilliams, Carlie Melton; Cade Tucker and Marley Walker served as alternates.
"It was a perfect day for us. The kids nailed the show. They were so excited," Jim Rhodes, One Act Play Director, said. "We want to extend many thanks to Mr. Peters, Miss Tagle, the parents that came, and to our Team Forsan (Jenny Sayles, Shane Sayles, and Jody Roberts)."
