The Forsan High School journalism students visited Lamun Lusk Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home on National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
During a short ceremony, veterans were recognized for their service. There were more than 70 veterans recognized.
National Vietnam War Veterans Day was originally recognized by President Donald Trump, five years ago.
Following the ceremony, the students were able to visit with a few of the veterans and hear their story.
