The 8th annual Child Abuse Awareness Event was held at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The Forsan Journalism students and Forsan Junior High/High School cheerleaders were in attendance to meet and greet the children who came through. Buffy was on hand to pose for pictures, as well.
Several local agencies, organizations and other groups were there. A proclamation was made by Mayor Shannon Thomason before the Forsan Elementary Honor Choir performed, during opening ceremonies.
